I somehow managed to enlarge my screen display size extremely and now I can't see half of the programs that I try to open and everything is very zoomed in and I don't know how to fix what I did.I was installing a new program for my laptop to create a new background and the program was not showing up as the new background so I messed with some of the properties and now the screen size has dramatically increased. How to change laptop screen format/resolution?
Hey
Ive got a laptop and am trying to set the resolution to 800x600, whenever i do change it to this, it only fills a portion of the screen in the center, i want it so it fills the whole screen whilst keeping it on 800x600 format so all the words are enlarged as i have poor eye sight
It used to work perfectly, but once i changed it to 1240x800 or something, then when i changed back it only filled the center of the screen..

Sometimes crudely programmed games will do this, they change your PC's resolution when entering the game but fail to change it back to what it originally was when exiting out. What you were doing before is exactly right, you need to make sure your changing that resolution back to what it was then pressing ';apply'; not ';ok';. It should immediately switch to that resolution, and it asks if you can see your screen, then you click ok. Again, just right click on your desktop, properties, settings, then adjust your resolution and click apply. You may have to wait for the developers to update the game, or you could try updating your graphics drivers to see if the problem still persists

(Tutorial) How to change Vista passwords without knowing them?
1. Create a new shortcut on your desktop (right-click %26gt; new %26gt; shortcut)
2. A ';Create shortcut wizard'; will pop up. In the first part, you choose your program, type in ';CMD'; in all caps.
3. Click 'Next', in the next section you must name the shortcut : ';Elevated Command Prompt'; (name it without the parenthesis and with the right capital letters. ) then click finish
4. Right-click the new shortcut and then click properties. Under the shortcut tab click the ';Advanced'; button
5. Then checkmark: ';Run as administrator'; then accept all of the changes.
You can now run the cmd with administrative priviledges by clicking the new shortcut. It will tell you that you need special permissions to run it, however it does not ask for a password.
You can now change the Vista passwords without knowing them. :D
Type this into the administrator-enabled command prompt to change a user's password:
net user ';username here'; *
New password: *****
Confirm new password: *****
of course, type your username between the quotations.

net user ';username here'; *
New password: *****
Confirm new password: *****

I'm trying to play Sky poker on my laptop (eee pc) and the poker software runs via flash player.
