How can I do it?

it is on board graphic display.I have Intel Duo core E4500 and want to change screen res. for 22'; wide screen. but the max res. is 1440*900
buy a video card. onboard graphics cards in general suck. it *may* be possible but you'll have to check with the motherboard vendor's website to see if there are better drivers available that will allow that resolution...(but i doubt it will)I have Intel Duo core E4500 and want to change screen res. for 22'; wide screen. but the max res. is 1440*900
First check what the capabilities of the monitor are.

Next check what the capabilities of the video chip are.

You can use the lowest max resolution of the two.

If the monitor can handle a higher resolution and your video chip can't, add a new video card to the motherboard.
1440x900 is a widescreen resolution. Unless you built the computer yourself or played with the drivers for the monitor, it should only list resolutions supported by your monitor. Look at any documentation that came with your monitor, or look its specs up on the Internet. It should be 1440x900.
22'; widescreen TFTs should have a max resolution of 1680x1050, I know mine does.

It's most likely that either you monitor is a budget make which doesn't go that high, or your integrated graphics don't support such a high res.
