I have an emachine W3650 and when I set my computer back up the monitor is showing a black screen with the words change screen resolution to 1680x1050. I can not change the screen resolution or even get to the desktop. It is stuck on this screen. I tried contacting emachines and they were no help. Does anyone know how to fix this?Can not change screen resolution?
Boot to Safe Mode
Keep tapping F8 When BIOS is running and before Windows starts
In Safe Mode the screen resolution will be set to 640 x 480. You can make changes to the configuration, then restart the system to see if the changes you made corrected any problems.
