How to change which screen you are controlling in dual display?

Im trying to figure out to change which screen the mouse is on while using dual displays. When I run a program such as Windows Media Center and its in full screen it wont let me control the content on the other monitor. Anyone got any advice that doesnt involve leaving full screen mode? Im using Vista and a eGeforce 8600 GT.How to change which screen you are controlling in dual display?

than you should see two boxes, each having a number in it, click one box, and tick off use this as main monitorHow to change which screen you are controlling in dual display?
The issue has nothing to do with full screen mode. It has to do with system modality. Most programs, when they go to full screen mode, they also become system modal. This means they take over the keyboard and display completely.

It's not clear what program you're using, but many of them have the ability to run full screen without becoming system modal. If all else fails, you can use alt-tab to switch away from the modal program.
