How can i change screen fresh rate in Windows XP ?

I cant change fresh rate of my computer. 65Mhz is the only option. Anyone show me how to change this ?How can i change screen fresh rate in Windows XP ?
The only way that may work is to try an update to the driver for the video. 65Hz is not bad. If it was lower, you could see a blinking caused by ambient lighting syncronization. It will give you a headache and eyestrain faster than just about anything. Even if it does not register, the eyes and brain can see it.How can i change screen fresh rate in Windows XP ?
right click on desktop/properties/setting tab/advanced button/ and then try one of the tabs, i dont remember what the name of it is. You'll have a drop down menu with all the possible options. If 65mhz is the only option that means that either your monitor or your video card doesn't support anything else but that. if that's the case - you can try to find a newer driver, but most likely even if there is a newer driver you may not be able to do anything. sorry.
right click on the desktop, click on graphic options then graphic properties, in the devices tab you will see refresh rate option...change it according to your requirement
If that is the only option then that is the only refresh rate the monitor supports at that resolution.

Try out lowering the resolution (ie from 1280x1024 to 1024x768) and most likely you will have some other choices for refresh rate. Check as well if your monitor has a proper driver installed. Sometimes if you don't have a proper driver installed the Windows will default to 60Hz.
Right on a empty space on your desktop then select

Properties%26gt;Display Properties Menu will open%26gt;Then go to Settings%26gt;Then Click on the Advanced Tab%26gt;Your Monitor's Settings will open%26gt;Click on the Monitor tab%26gt;There you will see all the available Screen Refresh Rate for your Monitor change it according to your Requirement.
