How to change screen name in iChat, and Mail? (Apple comps)?

My dad gave a laptop which he used for a short period of time, and his screen name is active on applications such as iChat. How can my mac screen name replace his?How to change screen name in iChat, and Mail? (Apple comps)?

What you do is click the ichat icon and it should show up on the toolbar at the top of the desktop as ';ichat'; (right next to the apple)



Next, click on ';ichat'; on the tool bar and a pull down menu should show up.



Go to preferences, then click accounts,

You should see an account section on the left side of the pop up box, as well as a plus and minus sign underneath that.



Once you click the plus sign, you should be able to add/delete mac accounts as well as aim accounts.
