Thanks to all.How to change screen resolution to 1920*1080 in windows 7?
When you installed Windows 7, by default Windows uses its generic basic VGA driver that only supports basic graphics card functions.
To enable all the features and capabiities of your graphics card such as higher resolutions, you need to go to the website of your graphics chipset's manufacturer, download the custom drivers written specifically for your graphics card, and install that. Unless you do that, you will NOT be able to use higher resolutions.
So find out what graphics card you have, and download the drivers for it.How to change screen resolution to 1920*1080 in windows 7?
You can try updating the driver for your video card. If it's an onboard video card then you probably won't be able to achieve this resolution size you are desiring. The resolution depends on your video card capabilities also not the potential size of your LCD monitor. Update the driver first and see how you go from there.
Good luck :)
u have to buy a new video card..............on board graphics wont allow tat much
