How can i change the screen resolution?

i just got a new hp laptop (dv2000) and everything's working fine. today i bought starcraft, and installed it on my computer. when i went to play it, the game screen is really small and is surrounded by a big black border. i went into control panel, and tried to change the screen resolution on the second monitor. but i can't change the resolution to high! can someone tell me how to fix this?How can i change the screen resolution?
The problem is with the game, not with your pc; in the game settings, go to video settings, then change the resolution to the native resolution of your laptop (if it is a 15.4'; the native resolution is probably 1280X800).How can i change the screen resolution?
hey now that i took a closer look at what you were saying usually when you have a small screen with a big black border that means your resolution is set too high. Try lowering the resolution, or try to find the native resolution of your second monitor.

what is your video card? im assuming since its a pavilion it's a geforce 7150 go, go to the nvidia website and download the drivers from there and install it, that might work
